Classic 1930's brick 2 bedroom/1 bonus room bungalow located in the historic Slant Streets.
This is really great neighborhood in the Paxson school district.
Bike to downtown, walk to the grocery store, or just enjoy porch life on the quiet street with great neighbors and beautiful trees.
The living room is very cozy and has a gas fireplace that provides supplemental heat.
The house has radiator heat with a reliable boiler in the basement.
There is updated new high end windows throughout the house except for the back sun room which has original windows.
The fenced yard is great for dogs.
The Willard school yard (aka Sunset Park) is directly behind the house providing ample space for exercise or taking in sun.
Roof, walls, and foundation are solid, there are no known major maintenance items needed.
The kitchen is nothing fancy but functional.
The front yard has attractive and low maintenance landscaping including two ginormous Douglas fir trees.
The backyard is not in great shape, it was remodeled by my dog and you can imagine how that went.
The back shop/garage is a great workshop or storage area, but is not really usable as a garage for cars due to how the property line falls.
Raft storage and occasional access through the garage door is certainly possible.
There is a driveway that can fit three cars and ample street parking.
The basement is semi-finished.
It has several areas for storage as well as laundry and a utility sink.
The laundry machines are in great condition and work reliably.
The worst feature of this house is the double-access bathroom.
The one bathroom is fairly small.
The bathroom is accessed through each of the two bedrooms, so there is two doors on the bathroom.
Personally this never was a problem for me but many people do not seem to like this aspect of the house.
This is a really cute house as is.
It has great potential for remodeling into something really special.
